Is-sinjali għal WIED IL-GĦAJN jixxiebħu. L-ewwel sinjal għandu tlett partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għall-ittra M. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal GĦAJN. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u titqiegħed taħt l-għajn ta’ l-istess naħa. (iii) Fit-tielet parti jsir is-sinjal għal WIED. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares ’il fuq djagonalment. L-idejn jersqu lejn xulxin mill-ġenb sakemm jiltaqgħu, jiġifieri jew bil-ġenb tal-pala ta’ id tmiss mal-ġenb ta’ l-id l-oħra jew bil-polz ta’ id imiss il-polz l-ieħor. Il-pala ta’ kull id tispiċċa mxaqilba ’l ġewwa.
It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet. L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal WIED. Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal GĦAJN.
The signs for MARSASCALA are very similar. The first sign consists of three parts. (i) The first part is the sign for the letter M. (ii) Then the sign for EYE is made. One hand takes the shape of 1 and is placed under the eye of the same side. (iii)Then the sign for VALLEY is made. Both hands take the shape of closed 5 with the palms facing upwards diagonally. The hands move towards each other until either the sides meet, such that one side of the palm touches the side of the other palm or the wrists meet. The palms lean inwards.
The second sign has two parts. First the sign for VALLEY is made. The the sign for EYE follows.
